MSI X99 SLI Krait Edition

MSI finally made black and white X99 motherboard.

Minimal colours is good :)

Coming from having a Asus Rampage IV Black Edition (photo below) I like it but would have preferred the SLI slots to be all black. You could argue against this with the HOF. Works for the RAM slots as you need to help people... if you need telling it's the lightest colour first ;)

That red panic button!

 

Sorry to say, but Krait looks better, at least it's three colors: black white and silver. ASUS Black Edition is black, gold, red, silver?

That red button is the start/power-on for when you are running testbench without the front panel, black button below it is reset/restart. Some red remains from the older Rampage IV Extreme.

I deliberately went for plain black and fair enough if it's too dull but I thought the RIVE had red overkill, don't mind at all it's not to you taste :)

 

Stock photo to better show the R4BE, that photo was took on my old DSLR. Once you attach the block the ROG LED is removed along with the I/O cover that also helps cool the VRMs, Asus chipset block is also removed for my monoblock. Once you cram everything in there you don't see much of the board anyway ;)
