this is why a lot of us don't mess around with these drivers.

we install only Driver + PhysX !! that's it!

Welcome to the forum 1stCowGirl!

As standard the driver and Physx are the only components I install.

It's the installation file accessing those URLs no matter what you do or do not install. As I did, use your firewall to block this even though it appears harmless but unnecessary on the part of Nvidia, same goes for Nvidia's telemetry (meant for diagnosing bugs but monitoring nonetheless) once you have installed selected components.
