I keep meaning to update my main OS drive which is a 540/220 speed 840 and I plan on going with M.2 but I'm intending to upgrade from my Z97 as soon as Zen or maybe Caby releases and do not know if M.2 will still be a thing for those, I'll also be going ITX so I'm not sure if I'll be able to go pcie express either :(

Correction it's not the 960 evo pro i'm getting it's the plain evo 960 500mb. and I just got it today this thing is tiny can't wait for my new build to get underway I'll post some pics when I get everything ..enjoy

M.2 drives are much faster than conventional SSDs. It's really worth to upgrade at least for the operating system partition.
